Victor Glass

I was born in Newark NJ, and raised in East Orange NJ. I earned a B.A. in mathematics at Rutgers University and later an M.S.W. from the Rutgers Graduate School of Social Work.

My first career was that of a social worker where I worked with children and families experiencing a variety of problems. I then moved on to software development, specializing in the UNIX operating system and database management systems.

I am married to Karen Glass. We met in graduate school and we have been together since 1975. We married in 1980. Karen is a retired social worker.

My interest in photography began during college and grew from there. My images are the result of a life long study of the art, an ability to see what is around me, and loving my own work and appreciating and learning from the work of others.

I spend the winters in Rincòn Puerto Rico where I continue with my photography, surf, play tennis and pickleball, and enjoy the warm weather.
